So I keep trying to submit an ad to them, and keep getting denied due to the URL. The destination URL is the one I took from this site that it printed out, and the display URL is the same as the final destination.

Do I need to use a landing page for google?

Does the display and landing page URL's have to match?

If the final destination and landing pages names are different wont they deny it?

Thanks in advance,

MS

Base on the new rule and old rule, it doesn't matter. The display URL must match the destination URL. However the actually path URL doesn't matter. For example, if the display URL is www.example.com. You put in the destination URL as redirect.tracking202.com, and the final destination is www.example.com, those are the only things that matter. Whatever the actual site is and the display URL is. Those two have to match up, it won't matter for the redirect URL

Thanks a ton man, so would you suggest landing pages as a good route? I do wanna be able to track it with this, but doesnt that lower your quality score?

But wait I did that and still got denied? Wow.

Google typically won't deny your site, just increase your bids. Unfortunately theres a ton of details to go over for QS

What if the LP URL is a subdirectory of the Display URL (i.e., www.MySite.com vs. www.MySite.com/LandingPage.html)?

Will Google frown on this too?

Thanks,

Ron

You should be able to just put in the main URL (domain.com) even if you're directing traffic to the domain.com/directory.
