Post subject: Rejected, What to do about it?
|
|
I have applied to about 4 different networks so far, and I have been rejected by 3 of them. I know that its probably because I have no CPA sites up yet, or massive amounts of traffic to show them, however there seems to be a catch 22. I can't set up a CPA site with out being accepted to networks, and yet with out having any sort of CPA site or lots of traffic I can't seem to get accepted.
I was wondering how I can get accepted to networks with out having some past experience? I mean everyone has to start somewhere right? Also for the places I have been rejected, how should I go about trying to get accepted still?
Trying to get my feet wet in this CPA game.
Thanks in advance,
-Travis

Hi Travis,
The website doesn't have to be a CPA site, just some website with traffic (you can actually promote ads as direct sales on any given website, not just landing pages).
For people who have no website or websites with not enough traffic, this can be tough. Shoot me a PM on here or send me a message on AIM at T202Steven and let me know which networks you're trying to get in. I'll see what I can do to hook you up and get you squared away.

Thanks again for the instant message, I do have a few websites, and I have tried using them to get accepted, however I still seem to get rejected.
Also thanks for trying to get me hooked up with some networks, it sure makes it hard to do some affiliate marketing without any networks, lol.

I assume your not putting your myspace account on there, because some networks see that and insta ban. Yeah if u let us know which networks might be able to have one of our AMs vouch for you and get re-approved, but yeah thats alot 3 out of 4 rejections? are u US right?

Hey Travis,
We talked some on AIM, I'm sure CPA Empire and Neverblue will let you in for sure. Again, we can vouch for ya.

Hey Travis,
Welcome to the exciting "game" of affiliate marketing!
Here's a foolproof way to get yourself accepted: apply online as usual, and then immediately CALL those affiliate networks.
When talking to them, be polite and professional. Explain to them your overall experience with Internet marketing (99.99% of the time they'll ask you to do so anyway), and tell them that you're a PPC marketer who can bring them lots of targetted traffic.
I've applied to almost 10 networks using just the above method, and e-v-e-r-y single one of them accepted me.
Good luck!

Wes, haha no I would never even think of doing that. I have other sites that I used for the applications. I am in the US. Yeah I was thinking that was a lot of rejections as well. I have been rejected by Neverblue, a while ago, Azoogle Ads, Hydra and I am waiting to here back from CPA Empire as of right now. I recently reapplied to Neverblue, so we shall see how that goes.
Thanks for all the replies and advice, this has to be one of the best affiliate forums I have visited in a while. Also thanks for the help on possibly getting me accepted.
@Zpivat- That sounds like a good idea, I will try calling the networks today and see what I can do.

Update:
I have been accepted to Neverblue as of a few minutes ago.
I am quite excited about that. Finally made it to one network.

Okay Travis, I talked to my manager at Hydra and she sent it over to the director for approval, will hear back tomorrow. If your application does get approved, pray you get the same manager, she's a senior level affiliate manager lol.
The problem that you ran into wasn't just lacking the website but rather they're afraid of taking on newbies (according to Hydra). They want users who know what they're doing so that they don't have to "babysit" or train users on how affiliate marketing works. I had to answer some questions on your behalf and tell them you're mainly a PPC affiliate marketer just starting out. I personally told them that I'll be helping you get started and thats what kinda made them resubmit the app for approval. So here's hoping for good news.
In any event, I called up CPAEmpire and am waiting on a call back regarding this. This one I am sure I'll be able to get you in no problem. As for Azoogle, I called and left a message as I couldn't get through, also waiting for a call back tomorrow. I briefly left a message so they'll know what is up when they call back. Like I said before, worst case scenario in these situations is you'll have to fill out a new application.
I'll continue to follow up on these and keep you posted

Wow thanks so much! Thats awesome news. Yeah I figured that it had to be something with me being new. Gotta start somewhere right?
Also thanks for saying that you'll help me, I may be new to CPA but I am not all that new to affiliate marketing in general, so no worries about "baby sitting" me. Lol.
I have been pretty busy with school today, so getting some good news like this is great to hear.
Thanks again and I look forward to some good news about getting approved.

Yeah I wasn't sure where you were at but I figured it'd help if I told her I was going to personally help you, which is our goal here at T202 anyway aside from providing the tools you guys need to succeed. Surely it worked!

Great News! I just got accepted to Hydra!!
Thanks so much again. Whatever you told them worked, and now I have to show them that I can do this, and make them and myself some money.
Thanks!
