Post subject: iframing CB offers
|
|
HI All
When iframing a clickbank offer (I know it's gray area, but still..), the following glitch happens on iexplorer: when users press on the buy button, they get to the clickbank payment page. At this stage, the URL on the browser changes from mydomain.com to https://ssl.clickbank.net/order/orderform.html?...... and the back button is inactive.
Someone knows this issue?
Thanks.

Hm, the best bet my be to ask ClickBank and see if they have an optional parameter you can add to your affiliate link that won't break iframes, I know HYDRA has something like this.

Thanks Wes
I think CB disallow iframing other's offers... It would be suicidal to approach them with such request.
Anyhow, I don't care that the iframe breaks, it's just that the "back" button isn't active. And it happens only on Iexplorer. Now, my guess would be that it affects conversions. Do you know how can I make the back button active on the paypal payment form page?
Thanks!

Ok so were talking about a regular landing page then, and then when they hit back, it isn't active? or it goes back and then pushes them forward again?

I have the merchant landing page on my domain inside an iframe. When user goes to payment page, he lands on clickbank domain (iframe breaks) and the Back button of IExplorer ISN'T ACTIVE.

Isn't active whatsoever, I'm not really sure what to say on that one, does it work in FF or Safari? It may be the breaking of the iframe which is messing it all up. That breaking I'm not sure is a natural PAGE FORWARD, which u could use a NATURAL PAGE BACK from.
