Well, I've been looking for a way to download subid's for converted clicks from Hydra. I imagine there is a way, but I can't seem to see how/where. If anyone knows and would like to tell me, that would be great.

hmm.. for some reason I don't get subids in that column. All I get is a bunch of dashes (like this: - ).

sorry but i did not want to dupe the same problem on a new thread. i am also having this problem
im getting some ids through P202 on hydra stats, but after a while of getting good subid stats it seems to accumulate all clicks/leads into a - dashed row with just the one dash as the subid and then accumulated clicks and leads.
like a keyword will end up converting and that subid will have 1 click and 1 lead, or 2 and 1. but this dash row that starts after many individual subids went through ok starts showing for example 50 clicks and 20 leads accumulated on one row. and its a dash so i cant track!
i have seen this happen when i modify the redirect.php so p202 works with google web optimizer, and it happens when i have just the LP code in the redirect.php.
why is this dash problem happening? I would really like to use this software.

Hmmm I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what you mean, can you take a screenshot? Are you downloading the subids how it was shown in the video?
Are you basically saying that its adding a DASH at the end of each subid when you download them from hydra?

ok heres a screenshot, ask me anything you need to clarify.

i saw on another post researching this, that it might be that the person does not have JS. so what can i do. just now i noticed a lead came through with its subid and the info was not added to this dash row.
so it doesnt seem to be a situation where subids work and then it breaks permanently. i wonder if t202 has this problem but the base tracking code shouldnt be that diff from the online version.

Are you sure your link is in the correct subid format? Subids.com

landing page. no iframe. ive been using subids without p202 for a while but p202 is SO much faster at telling me what kws convert, etc. before i was comparing cost/income on each keyword at a time!
in the p202 setup under part #3 add campaigns, for the affiliate URL box, i add the hydra aff url with the &s= on the end to let p202 add the subid. am i doing this right?
what could be the problem wes?
Mike

That sounds right,
Are the visitors being recorded on the spy view?
You have the JS installed correct? Is it right above the </body>, right above the closing body tag.
Is the HTML validated? http://validator.w3.org/
Is the cookies being recorded properly? When you land on your landing page if you view the cookies it should show tracking202 cookies, is this working?

ok i think i got it but
spy view - i havent really used this and dont know a way to match the visitor in hydra to a spy view visit since i get no subid or timestamp in hydra.
js on the most screwed up campaign's Lan page was not there so i missed it at some point during an optimizer test or from my old way of php tracking.
validation tears my google web optimizer JS code up, but other than that it looks ok.
this problem has also happenned with the other campaigns that have everything ok. but much less than this one so i think some people just dont have javascript. i checked cookies and they are there when i hit the lan page.
all in all i will give this a fair shot and hope it works well enough to keep using it as other than this its a great piece of software.
if you could do everything in php with cookies, or grabbing info from ppc engine at the top of the lan page, and tracking that way, i think it would avoid all the user settings/security problems which causes javascript to not work sometimes? is this viable?

wes i found a way around it. i can combine my old tracking system with p202 by firstly grabbing the t202 variable in my own php cookie on the lan page, setting my p202 campaign aff url to my own finish.php like http://www.exosus.com?p=26 did, have the user click the lan page going to the p202 redirect.php, through p202 and back to finish.php where i then check if the subid is blank (which it would be if the person doesnt have js for example), i can tag the OVRAW to my aff url and still get the keyword anyway.
