So I have been looking through all of our CPA's and I realize that a lot of them have a lot of different terms... So i was wondering if anyone could help me with a few regarding how to advertise with them. As far as CPA empire, they use the term Contextual links, and with RocketProfit, they call them text links, are they the same thing and can you use these with PPC such as Yahoo Search marketing and Adwords... I would hate to have it all set up and then the CPA network gets mad at us for not advertizing correctly... let me know if anyone has any input on this matter. THANK!

Every network offer some type of PPC allowed. It is actually more dependent on the offer. I want to note that some allow search and others don't. It's simply a matter of looking at what is listed when you click on the offers you are interested in, and see if they allow Search, Banner, etc... and go from there. If "search" is indicated, PPC is allowed.

Well thats just it, it doesnt necessarily say "search" the only types of media for rocket profit is, "text" "email" and "banner" so i was assuming that "text" would be considered search? And with CPA Empire it only says "Contextual Creative" which again i was assuming that was the same as "search" With neverblue ads however, they clearly say that its either email, search, banner... ect... Ive just already had a dramatic fall out with google and im worried that i may violate some TOS and that would just suck... Thanks for the help

I generally just throw any of the links that look good, you can double check with the affiliate manager though if you want to be very sure about it. Although I'd assume if I was an advertiser and I threw up a campaign, as long as the affiliate marketer was sending us good leads that converted for back-end sales I'd continue it if I were them.
